Privacy Policy

What information we collect

FertilityCostGuide collects only the minimum information needed to provide our service:

• Email addresses — If you choose to email yourself a cost estimate, we collect your email address via Formspree. Providing your email is entirely optional. No account is required to use our calculators.
• Usage data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — We use GA4 to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on page, general geographic location (country/region), and device type. We do not collect names, financial account numbers, or health records.
• Calculator inputs — Values you enter into our calculators (state, cycle count, insurance coverage, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. These inputs are not transmitted to or stored on our servers unless you request an emailed estimate.

How we use your information

• To send your requested estimate — If you submit your email, we use it to deliver your cost breakdown to your inbox via Formspree.
• To improve the site — Aggregated, anonymized analytics data from GA4 helps us understand which calculators and features are most useful so we can improve them.
• Occasional updates — If you opt in by submitting your email, we may send infrequent updates about the site (new features, updated cost data). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — We use GA4 for site analytics. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to collect anonymized usage data. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy for full details.
• Formspree — Email submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service. When you submit your email, it is transmitted to Formspree's servers. See Formspree's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
• Google AdSense — We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at aboutads.info or through Google's Ads Settings.
• Affiliate and financing partner links — Our site contains links to financing partners (Prosper Healthcare Lending, Egg Fund, LightStream, and Future Family). When you click these links, you leave our site and are subject to those companies' own privacy policies. See the Affiliate Disclosure section below.

Affiliate disclosure

FertilityCostGuide participates in affiliate and referral programs with select financing partners. If you click a partner link and apply for financing, we may earn a referral fee from the lender. This fee is paid by the lender and does not increase your cost in any way.

Our affiliate relationships never influence our cost estimates, calculator methodology, or editorial content. All cost data is independently sourced from publicly available data. We disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with FTC guidelines.

Cookies

FertilityCostGuide uses cookies in limited circumstances:

• Google Analytics cookies — GA4 sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_[ID]) to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These cookies contain anonymized identifiers and do not contain personal information.
• Google AdSense cookies — Google may set cookies to serve and measure advertising.

We do not set any first-party cookies ourselves. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or via Google's opt-out tools linked above.

Data retention

Email addresses submitted through our forms are stored by Formspree and retained per Formspree's data retention policy. We do not maintain a separate email database on our own servers. To request deletion of your submission, contact us at [email protected].

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted from Google's servers.
